Merseyside Police have seized three electric motorcycles after they were spotted on CCTV footage in the Wallasey area, leading to a swift and targeted response from patrol officers.
The bikes, which appeared suspicious on surveillance footage, were found shortly after being abandoned nearby. Officers attended the scene promptly and secured all three motorcycles.

Investigation Ongoing
Police have confirmed that an active investigation is now underway to identify the riders. Enquiries will include reviewing additional CCTV footage, conducting forensic examinations, and appealing to the public for any further information.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said:
“Thanks to quick thinking and teamwork, our officers were able to recover these electric motorcycles before they could be used in further crimes or anti-social behaviour. Enquiries are ongoing to locate and deal with those responsible.”
The force also posted a clear message on social media: “See you soon ?,” signalling their determination to track down the individuals involved.
