EOD called in after suspect object found in Bracknell
Police and EOD are on the scene of a suspicious object that has been located in a lake at Westmorland Park. Police were called at 10.02am after a member of the public removed an object from the lake. The object is currently being assessed by officers and a 100 metre cordon has been put in place as a precaution. The object is currently isolated and the cordon we have in place is a precaution. Officers from Explosives Ordnance Disposal have assessed the object. A Controlled explosion will take place to dispose of the item safely.
