Fire breaks out at Surrey University

Fire crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue have been called to tackle a fire that has broken out at the University of Surrey in Guildford. It’s understood that the fire has broken out within a teaching block and has been contained. Crew were mobilised after staff called from the site to say a fire had been discovered within the campus. There are no reports of any injuries. A some for the university said:“A fire broke out in the Robert Boyle (AZ) building on our Stag Hill campus this evening (28th February). Emergency services are in attendance, there are no reports of any injuries.” UPDATE: The fire has now been extinguished
