Fire crews called to Bluebell Meadows

Two fire crews from Newport have been called to the Bluebell meadows estate to tackle a fire that has broken out. Eight firefighters are tackling a bin shed that has caught alight on the estate. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a high pressure hose reel to fight the blaze Crews are also using positive pressure ventilation to remove a large plum of smoke they are also using a thermal imaging camera to check the blaze has not spread to the roof of the shed.
