At 5.41 pm on January 2, 2024, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) responded to a bedroom fire in a residential property on Davigdor Road in Hove.

The fire, which broke out in a second-floor bedroom, was effectively extinguished by the attending crews using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. ESFRS confirmed that the fire is now out and the operation is being scaled down.
