Four men have been apprehended by the Northumbria Police in connection with a funeral car being driven on to a football pitch in Dunston, Gateshead on Friday evening.
Immediately after receiving reports of the incident, authorities launched a thorough investigation to uncover the full details surrounding the altercation and identify those involved. The investigation has been ongoing, with extensive enquiries conducted to gather relevant information.
As a result of their efforts, three men, aged 19, 19, and 32, were arrested on suspicion of affray, while another man, aged 41, was apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy to commit criminal damage. All four individuals are currently in police custody as the investigation progresses.
