Hamble Lifeboat launched to man in Distress in New Forest

Hamble lifeboat has been Launched on service at this evening to assist Hampshire and Wight police who are currently dealing with a distressed male in Hythe Police officers and other emergency services are currently trying to talk the man down who is sat on the sea wall threatening to jump. Is is unclear how long the man has been sat on the wall near Waitrose in Hythe. A coastguard search and rescue team from Southampton has also been sent to assist with the incident More to follow Later
