Police have launched an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Malton Street in Burngreave. At approximately 10.11pm on Sunday, July 2nd, officers responded to reports of a 42-year-old man who had sustained serious injuries. According to the police, the victim had exited his vehicle on Malton Street when he was shot in the leg in what appears to be a targeted attack.

The injured man was promptly taken to the hospital, where he is believed to be facing life-changing injuries. Detective Inspector Chris Ronayne, the Senior Investigating Officer, stated that extensive inquiries are currently being conducted in the Burngreave area.
