Two Paramedics onboard an emergency ambulance answering a 999 call have escaped serious injuries after their vehicle ploughed into a London bus late on Tuesday evening.
An investigation into the cause of the collision has been launched by officers from the Met Police who were called to Marylebone Road at the junction of Baker Street just after 11pm on Tuesday 31st January 2023.

Those onboard the bus were said shaken but unhurt after the ambulance went through a red light and hit the front of the double-deck bus.

The emergency ambulance at the time was answering a call then lost control and ended up on its side.

Those onboard vehicles had to be helped out by fire crews who had been called to the scene to make the vehicles involved safe.
The London Ambulance Service and the Met Police have been approached for a statement.
