A 50-year-old man from Harlow has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The incident took place on a cycle path off Momples Road at around 5:30 pm on Saturday, March 29.
The incident, described as “shocking” by authorities, is being treated as a murder investigation. Detective Inspector James Holmes, the senior investigating officer, said:
“This was a shocking incident and I know people are worried, people are concerned. I would like to offer that assurance that we’re taking this very seriously. We’ve got a dedicated team working on this investigation, supported by local officers on the ground in Harlow.”

Appeal for Information

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information that could assist the investigation to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time of the incident.
