Police were called to Town Square in Barking at 9.25am on Thursday, 10 October, following reports of an unresponsive man. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where a man, believed to be in his 50s, was sadly pronounced dead.
Local enquiries, including a review of CCTV footage, were carried out. After further investigation, the death has been deemed non-suspicious.
Authorities are working to notify the man’s next of kin, and a file will be prepared for the Coroner. The investigation continues to ensure all necessary procedures are followed.
