A man in his twenties has been seriously injured following a shooting in the Manningham area of Bradford late Sunday night.
A crime scene remains in place on Oak Lane as forensic teams and investigators continue their work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Detective Inspector Suzanne Hall, who is heading the case, said:

“This was a serious firearms offence, and we are treating it with the utmost seriousness. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist our enquiries to come forward.

“We understand that incidents like this cause concern in the community, and I want to reassure residents that we are doing everything possible to investigate and bring those responsible to justice.”

Police are urging anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident or who may have dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage to get in touch.
