In the early hours of Monday morning, Metropolitan Police SO15 and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers were dispatched to a property on Wentworth Road, SW8, following reports of a suspicious incident. Specialist officers, from Counter Terrorism Command from SO15, were called to the scene shortly after midnight to assess and secure the area.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed the deployment of specialist units but have not yet provided specific details about the nature of the incident.
The police are expected to release further information as their investigation progresses.
