Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of Joshua McLean, 31, in Tower Hamlets have made significant progress in the case, with the arrest of eight individuals. McLean was shot on Tuesday, 6 August at approximately 8.27pm in Weavers Fields, located off Wilmot Street, E2.

On Wednesday, 25 September, Met police officers arrested 40 people suspected of  online child abuse" href="https://uknip.co.uk/news/uk/breaking/met-police-officers-arrested-40-people-suspected-of-online-child-abuse/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="63215">officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command arrested eight males, aged between 17 and 56, on suspicion of murder. All eight suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
