Murder investigation launched after Man is Stabbed to Death in Eastleigh

Police are investigating after a man was found with life-threatening injuries in Eastleigh last night. Officers were called to Scott Road just before 11.30pm on 6 July to reports of a man with serious stab wounds. Police attended the scene along with our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service. Despite receiving medical treatment, the man died on the way to hospital. A 36-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both from Eastleigh, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody. The victim, a white man, has not been formally identified at this stage.
