Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery involving a 15-year-old girl on Seaside Road in Eastbourne. The incident occurred around 9 PM on Thursday, 18 July, near the junction with Southbourne Road.
The young victim was approached by a man wielding a knife who demanded that she hand over her possessions. Fortunately, a passerby intervened, causing the suspect to flee the scene empty-handed. While the girl was understandably shaken by the encounter, she was not physically harmed.
