Police Appeal for Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses Following Collision in Millbrook

Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision between an e-scooter and a white van in Millbrook. The incident occurred at around 5:30 pm on Monday, 16 September, at a pedestrian crossing on Wimpson Lane, near the Millbrook roundabout.

The collision involved an e-scooter rider and an unidentified white van. Although no injuries were reported, the van driver briefly checked on the e-scooter rider before leaving the scene without providing any details.

The van driver is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 6ft 1in tall, with a slim build.

Police are urging the driver to come forward and are also appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting reference number 44240398475.

Authorities are keen to gather as much information as possible to identify the driver and piece together the events of the collision.
