Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of an ongoing investigation into the use of counterfeit money in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

The incident occurred at around 3:15 pm on 30 October 2024 at the Morrisons supermarket in Borehamwood. According to police, counterfeit £2 coins were deposited into a Coinstar machine, and cash was then obtained from the store in return.

Investigation and Appeal for Information

Officers from the Hertsmere intervention team have been conducting enquiries since the incident. They now have CCTV footage of a man they believe may have important information related to the case.
