Police arrest Three Men after Football Fan Murdered in Basingstoke
Hampshire Police are investigating the murder of 31-year-old Dean Evans in Basingstoke. Police were called to an address in Benham Road at 5.30am yesterday morning (Friday, April 8), to reports of an assault. When our officers arrived they found Mr Evans lying in the road suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service but sadly, he died a short time later in hospital. Three men, two aged 22 and one aged 20, all from Basingstoke, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody being questioned by officers.
