Police are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a handgun during a robbery in Woolwich on Sunday evening (April 27).
Officers were called at around 8.24pm to Arsenal Way, SE18, following reports of the incident. The victim reported being approached by three men who allegedly threatened him with a firearm before stealing his car and mobile phone.
Armed Response Officers were deployed to the area to search for the suspects, but no arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We are conducting a thorough investigation and urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, to come forward.”
