Police are investigating the discovery of a deceased person in a wooded area near Gore Road Gate inside Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets. The body was found shortly before 10:00 am on Saturday, August 10, following a request from the local council, which manages the park.
Enquiries are currently underway to confirm the identity of the deceased and to notify their next of kin. At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained, and a special post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause.
