The courage of two Metropolitan Police officers and members of the public has been hailed after they entered a burning building on High Street, NW10, to rescue trapped residents on Friday, December 13.

Commendation for Heroism

Commander Paul Trevers commended the officers and the community for their quick and selfless actions:
“The actions of these officers exemplify the bravery, tenacity, and commitment to public safety that runs through the core of the Met Police. Confronted with a terrifying situation and knowing lives were at risk, they did not hesitate to act. I am immensely proud of their actions, as I’m sure all Londoners will be.
