The suspect is described as a white man wearing a short-sleeved top and trousers. He is not believed to have been known to the victim. Authorities have initiated CCTV and witness enquiries in the area and are urging anyone who was in or around the park—or near its entrance—between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm on that day to come forward. In particular, they are appealing for anyone who captured the scene on mobile phones, dashcams, or other recording devices to assist, as such footage may prove vital.
