Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded swiftly to a shed fire in High Ridge, Hythe this evening, deploying multiple crews to bring the situation under control.
Emergency services were called at 5.51pm following reports of flames engulfing a shed in a residential area. Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus (PPE) and high-pressure hose reel jets, worked to extinguish the fire.
The fire was brought under control by 7.33pm, with no reported injuries to residents or firefighters.
A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed:
Crews attended a shed fire in High Ridge, Hythe. Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets to successfully extinguish the flames. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.”
