In a shocking incident that unfolded at Tewkesbury School in Gloucestershire, a teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teacher was stabbed. The incident occurred on Monday morning, prompting an immediate response from Emergency services
Armed police swiftly apprehended the teenage boy just an hour after the stabbing took place. The motive behind the attack remains unclear at this time. However, the police have confirmed that the teacher, who sustained injuries during the incident, is currently in stable condition.

At approximately 9:10 am on Monday, the authorities received a report of a pupil stabbing a teacher, leading to an immediate police response. Headteacher Kathleen McGillycuddy issued a statement addressing the incident and acknowledging the concern it has caused among the school community.
“We appreciate this morning has been a worrying time for all associated with Tewkesbury Academy,” McGillycuddy stated. “We were alerted shortly before 9 am this morning to reports of a serious incident which left a male member of staff in need of hospital treatment. The school was locked down, and the police were called immediately when we became aware of this incident.”
