A peaceful evening in the quiet seaside town of Newcastle, Northern Ireland, was shattered on Friday when a teenager was brutally stabbed multiple times in the Dundrum Road area.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), the violent incident occurred just before 7:45pm on April 11. Emergency services rushed to the scene where a young man in his late teens was found with serious stab wounds to his face and head, believed to have been inflicted with a blade.

Two Arrests Made
Detective Sergeant McCartan, who is leading the investigation, confirmed that two males — one a teenager and the other in his 20s — have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. Both remain in custody as enquiries continue.
While the victim’s current condition has not been made public, the severity of the injuries has sparked concern across the community.
