A community has been left shaken after three school pupils were attacked, with two suffering stab wounds, in a violent incident in Bonnygate Park, just over the East London border in South Ockendon.

The attack took place at around 4.20pm on Thursday, 20 March, shortly after school hours. Emergency services were called to the scene, where they found three young people injured, two of whom had reportedly been stabbed. All three victims were taken to hospital, and none are believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries.

School Confirms Victims Were Pupils

The victims have been confirmed as students from Harris Academy Ockendon, a secondary school and sixth form located just five minutes from the park.
