High Street North in Manor Park experienced significant traffic disruptions following an incident on Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 PM, when a Metropolitan Police vehicle, responding to an emergency call, collided with a blue Honda at a busy junction. The impact was severe enough to completely destroy the Honda and damage the traffic light control system, adding to the chaos.

Authorities were forced to implement manual traffic control on Romford Road as the disabled traffic light system compounded the already chaotic scene. The Metropolitan Police car, clearly marked and in the midst of an emergency response, plowed into the civilian vehicle under circumstances that are still under investigation.
