In a heart-wrenching incident off the coast of Dunkirk, France, a seven-year-old girl has tragically lost her life after the small boat she was in with her family capsized while attempting to cross the English Channel. The boat, reportedly carrying 16 migrants, encountered disaster a few kilometers from the French shore.
A young girl with dreams and a family seeking a new beginning, became a victim of the perilous journey many migrants undertake in search of safety and a better life.
