Two sustain injuries following collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man and a woman were injured in a collision in Burnt Oak. Police were called at 23:27hrs on Wednesday, 18 April, to reports of a motorcycle in collision with a traffic island on Burnt Oak Broadway. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the location. A 52-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man had sustained injuries. It is not known which of the two was the rider of the motorcycle and which was the pillion passenger. Both were taken to hospital. The woman is in a critical condition; the man is described as serious but stable. Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton are investigating. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 020 8991 9555.
