Kent Police have confirmed the discovery of a body during a search operation in Strood. Emergency services were called at 11:08am on Tuesday, 22 October, following reports of a body found near Knight Road, Strood. Officers from Kent Police, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and H.M. Coastguard, attended the scene where a man was confirmed deceased.

While formal identification is yet to take place, authorities have informed the family of a 25-year-old man who had been reported missing in the area since Friday, 18 October.

Police have stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
The investigation continues, but authorities have stressed that there is no indication of foul play.
