The attack left six out of the eight horses in the field injured, with two horses now lame and two ponies sustaining lacerations to their backs, necks, and legs.

Witnesses reported seeing a black and tan, medium-haired German Shepherd fleeing the scene towards Bullingstone Lane after the onslaught.
