A brutal knife attack in St Leonards has left a 23-year-old man with serious injuries, as police launch an urgent appeal for witnesses.

Details of the Knife Attack

The violent assault occurred at approximately 12:05am on Thursday, February 13, when three unidentified assailants targeted the victim at a residence on Marline Road, St Leonards. The attackers specifically sought out the address before launching their assault.

Victim’s Condition

The victim, identified as a 23-year-old local resident, sustained severe knife wounds to his head and arms during the attack. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and the man was rushed to hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Detective Inspector Gavin Patch is leading the investigation into this knife attack, he stated: “This distressing incident has understandably caused concern within the local community. Our team is working diligently, conducting enquiries, and maintaining a visible presence in the area.”

Sussex Police deployed officers and dog units to search the surrounding area immediately after the incident, but the suspects remain at large. The police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed three men in or around Marline Road at approximately midnight on the day of the attack.
