Police Hunt Man After Two Sexual Assaults and Stalking Incident on Slough Bus

Thames Valley Police have launched an urgent appeal after two sexual assaults and a stalking incident linked to Slough’s busy London Line 702 bus.

CCTV images have been released showing a man who officers believe may hold crucial information. The incidents happened in January, March, and May 2025, sparking public concern across Berkshire.

In January and March, a woman was sexually assaulted — touched inappropriately over her clothing — while travelling on the 702 bus route from London to Slough.

On 2 May, the same offender reportedly tried to sit beside the victim. After being blocked, he later followed her off the bus on Wellington Street and tried to engage her in conversation, causing her significant distress. Thankfully, a passerby intervened, and the woman was able to escape safely.

Detective Constable Rebecca Allibone, who is leading the investigation, said:

I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in these CCTV images to get in touch, as he may have vital information about the assaults and stalking incident.”

Police have stepped up patrols in Slough and are urging anyone with information to contact them by calling 101, quoting reference 43250216796, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.

Superintendent Kelly Gardner, Thames Valley Police’s lead for stalking cases, said the force is committed to using Stalking Protection Orders to prevent further harm.

Community members have expressed gratitude online, with one social media user posting:

Glad TVP is taking this seriously. Hope they catch him soon.

The case comes amid rising sexual offence reports across Thames Valley, with calls for continued vigilance and reporting from both authorities and support groups.
