Matthew White, 22, Reported Missing in Hampshire – Extreme Concern for Welfare

Police and the family of Matthew White, aged 22, are urgently appealing for help from the public after he went missing from Emsworth, Hampshire. He was last heard from on Friday, 23 May 2025, and has not been seen or contacted anyone since.

Matthew’s disappearance has been labelled as “extreme concern for welfare” by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, who are actively investigating the case and working alongside Missing Persons teams.

  • Name: Matthew White
  • Age: 22
  • Height: 5’9″
  • Build: Slim
  • Hair: Brown, short
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Glasses: Yes, usually wears them
  • Clothing: Unknown, but believed to be similar to that shown in recent images – dark coat and wool hat
  • Behavioural Notes:
    • Frequently travels by train
    • Known to walk in wooded areas
