Police are urgently appealing for help in locating a 94-year-old woman named Jane, who has been reported missing from Lewisham earlier today.
Jane was last seen at around 11:20am on Saturday, March 15, and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
She is described as having short grey hair and was last seen wearing a grey skirt. She was also carrying a crochet or straw bag.
Last Seen Near Lewisham Shopping Centre
Police believe Jane may be heading towards or seen in the Lewisham Shopping Centre area, and are asking members of the public to be vigilant.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Lewisham MPS said:
“Have you seen Jane, 94 years old, missing from Lewisham since 11:20hrs? She has short grey hair, wearing a grey skirt and carrying a crochet/straw bag. Possibly would go to the Lewisham Shopping Centre area. If seen, please call 999 quoting CAD 2989/15MAR25.”
Urgent Appeal for Information
Anyone who sees Jane or has any information about her whereabouts is urged to call 999 immediately, quoting reference CAD 2989/15MAR25.
Police have thanked the public for their support and are continuing active searches in and around the Lewisham area.
