In a sorrowful update to a missing person case that has captivated the community, Northumbria Police announced the discovery of a body in Leazes Park, Newcastle, believed to be that of 19-year-old Reagan Brown. Reagan, from Hexham, was last seen around 10:30 pm on Monday near Leazes Park in Newcastle city centre. His disappearance triggered an extensive search involving police divers and local Mountain Rescue teams.

The body was found on Wednesday afternoon, and while formal identification is pending, the police have notified Reagan’s family. Superintendent Kevin Waring of Northumbria Police expressed his condolences, describing the outcome as “extremely tragic” and extending the department’s deepest sympathies to Reagan’s family and friends during this difficult time.
