A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after an unknown substance was hurled at him at Crawley railway station late Saturday night, British Transport Police have confirmed.

The incident unfolded shortly after 11.20pm on March 7. Emergency crews raced to the scene in West Sussex, where the victim was treated before being taken for further medical care. His current condition remains undisclosed.
Police Hunt Witnesses as Investigation Continues
Officers and forensic teams stayed at the station deep into the early hours of Sunday, scouring for clues. A British Transport Police spokesperson urged anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
“Officers were called to Crawley railway station just after 11.20pm last night (March 7) to reports of a substance being thrown at a man in his thirties. The man was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment. Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses who might have seen this incident or may have information.”
