Two people have been charged, and a third man has been arrested following an incident in St James’s Street, Brighton where a man was assaulted and robbed in the early hours of Wednesday, September 25.
Police were called to the scene at around 5:15 am after a 20-year-old man from Hastings was attacked and had his money and possessions stolen shortly after using a cash point. The victim was taken to hospital for assessment and later discharged with minor injuries.
In addition, a 26-year-old man from Wimbledon was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been bailed while police continue their enquiries.
