In a poignant courtroom scene, family members of the late Chris Kaba, a 24-year-old who tragically lost his life in a police shooting, became visibly emotional as the officer involved appeared in court, charged with murder.

The incident occurred in Streatham Hill, southeast London, on September 6 last year when Chris Kaba was shot through the windscreen of an Audi car. The accused officer, identified solely as NX121, made his court appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. Several of Mr. Kaba’s loved ones were present in the public gallery to witness the proceedings.
