Summer holidays can be a challenging time for parents as they face increased food expenses while trying to keep their children well-fed. To alleviate the financial burden, consumer website Money Saving Central has compiled a list of places where children, typically aged 10 and younger, can enjoy free or inexpensive meals throughout the six-week school break.

Major supermarkets, including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Morrisons, are offering attractive deals for families. Asda’s cafes are providing meals for kids at just £1 throughout the day, with no requirement for adult purchases. The supermarket has also introduced vegan and nutritionally balanced options to its menu, and each kids’ hot meal deal includes a complimentary piece of fruit.
