Two Indian students have died and five others were injured after a two-vehicle crash at the Rayleigh Spur roundabout on the A130 near Wickford in the early hours of Monday morning.

The victims were named as Chaitanya Tarre and Rishi Teja Rapolu, both in their 20s.

Police appeal

Essex Police confirmed that the serious collision investigation unit is continuing enquiries and appealed for dashcam, CCTV, or witness evidence.
