Tunbi Eyite, aged 26, of St Hugh’s Avenue, was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison at Amersham Crown Court on Tuesday (22/2). Eyite was found guilty of two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, one cocaine and one heroin, and one count each of dangerous driving, possession of criminal property and driving while disqualified. At around 5pm on 23 November 2020, officers witnessed a Nissan Qashqai with no lights on acting suspiciously in St Hugh’s Avenue – the car was also known to have links to drug dealing. The Nissan made off and officers followed it to the junction with Hicks Farm Rise where it had been involved in a collision with another vehicle. The driver, Eyite, was arrested and officers found a small amount of cash and several mobile phones in the car. Officers also found a large bag containing drugs where the Nissan was first spotted. A subsequent search of Eyite’s home found more than £12,000-worth of cocaine and heroin, a large quantity of cash, expensive designer clothes and drug-dealing paraphernalia. PC James Carey, of the Stronghold team based at High Wycombe police station, said: “Eyite is another offender that has been sentenced as a result of the Stronghold team. “This is the result of hard work and we will continue to work hard to bring offenders to justice as Thames Valley Police will not tolerate drug-dealing. “Through Stronghold, we are committed to working in partnership to tackle serious organised crime and exploitation, such as county lines drug dealing. “We continue to need the support of the public in this, and we would ask them to report any information that they have about drug dealing.
