Road users are advised to follow the “Solid Diamond” diversion symbol and exit the A3 at Compton Interchange. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and join the B3000 Puttenham Heath Road. Continue to the A31 Interchange, passing beneath the the dual carriageway and merge on to the A31 towards Guildford. Continue along the A31 until Guildford Park Roundabout. At the roundabout take the 1st exit on to Guildford Park Road/Madrid Road and The Chase to the A3 Cathedral Interchange . Take the 1st exit at the roundabout and join Egerton Road. Travel under the A3 to join the slip road to re-join the A3 northbound.

Traffic is queuing for approx. 5 miles almost back to Milford.
