Air ambulance called to stabbing attack in Ilford

The HEMS air ambulance has been called to Ilford this afternoon following a brutal stabbing attack that took place on Saturday afternoon. https:///youtu.be/W60kjqN0aiQ Life saving medics could be seen running to the scene after the skillful pilot landed in at near by Valentine Park. A scene has been established on The Drive and the junction with Radcliffe Gardens. A large police and emergency service presence remain in the area after a attack took place outside a house in the road.   A Spokesman for the Met Police said: Officers  were called by the London Ambulance Service at 3.46pm on Saturday, 8 February to reports of a man stabbed at a residential address on The Drive in Ilford. “Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The man was taken to an east London hospital. We await an update on his condition. “A man was arrested nearby on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. “At this early stage, officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the assault.
