Ambulance involved in collision near Basingstoke hospital

Officers from Hampshire Roads Policing are currently dealing with a collision involving an ambulance and another vehicle. The collision happened around 10am on Thursday near to the traffic light junction near the Basingstoke hospital. A black Peugeot people carrier has struck the ambulance. It is unclear if the ambulance was responding to an emergency call or if anyone has been injured as a result of the collision. Emergency services including the service and an ambulance officer have been called to the scene. Drivers can expect delays of over an hour in the area so be prepared, and if possible find another route.
