In a tragic incident early this morning, police are urgently appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision on the A34, just past the Winchester bypass.

At approximately 5:30am on 13 December, police were alerted by the ambulance service to a severe collision on the A34’s northbound carriageway. The incident involved a white Yamaha motorcycle, and tragically, its rider, a 26-year-old man from Winchester, was pronounced dead at the scene.
