Armed Police called to the discharge of a firearm in Tottenham

Police were called at 1.35am on Sunday, 2 June to Tottenham High Road, at the junction with Dowsett Road, following reports of the discharge of a firearm. Officers attended, along with specialist firearms colleagues. A member of the public reported being at home when they heard a loud bang and found a window had shattered. Officers retrieved a number of shell casings from the scene. There are no reported injuries. At this early stage, there have been no arrests. Road closures are in place. Enquiries into the circumstances continue, led by the North Area Command Unit and the Trident and Area Crime Command.
