Essex Police’s road policing unit apprehended a reckless motorist who was travelling “more than 120mph” on the A130 near Chelmsford. The incident, which occurred on the first day of the new year, serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of excessive speeding on the roads.
The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pulled over by Essex Police after being caught driving at a speed approximately double the legal limit. This alarming incident took place on the A130 in Essex.
The Essex Police Roads Policing Unit took to Twitter to report the incident, stating, [We] patrol Chelmsford [and] the driver of this vehicle was caught travelling more than 120 mph this morning on the #A130 unacceptable speed. Stopped and driver reported and will be off to court, no course or fixed penalty available.
