Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a car fire on the M20 coastbound between Junction 2 and Junction 3 earlier today.
A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said, “We responded swiftly to the car fire on the M20 and were able to extinguish the flames quickly. Our priority is always the safety of the public and ensuring that incidents like these are handled efficiently.”
[block_2]The fire caused temporary traffic disruptions, but the motorway has since been cleared and normal traffic flow has resumed.
Motorists are advised to remain cautious and report any signs of vehicle trouble immediately to prevent such incidents in the future.
